iBert Safe-T-Seat Announces Sponsorship Agreement with David “Tinker” Juarez

Two-time Olympian and Mountain Bike Hall of Famer to make

special appearance at iBert Interbike Booth #4406

 

RIVERTON, Utah – September 15, 2008 – iBert Inc., manufacturer of the front-mounted bicycle safe-T-seat, today announced a sponsorship agreement with world and national mountain bike endurance champion, two-time Olympian and Mountain Bike Hall of Famer David “Tinker” Juarez.

 

As part of the sponsorship agreement, Juarez will be at the Interbike iBert booth (#4406) on Wednesday, September 24, at 11:30 a.m. for autographs and interviews.

 

The sponsorship started back in April 2008 after Juarez contacted iBert about getting a safe-T-seat to use while on rides with his son, Joshua. After using the bike on multiple family rides and loving it, Juarez signed an official sponsorship with iBert.

 

“Tinker and his family loved the safe-T-seat from the very first time they used it,” said Kelly Eissinger, president of iBert and developer of the safe-T-seat. “Tinker’s perspective as both a celebrated athlete and a father gives his endorsement of the seat added value.”

 

The iBert sponsorship agreement also supports Juarez and his partnership with the National Mountain Bike Oktoberfest, a three-day family-oriented mountain bike festival in Davidson, N.C.

Juarez’s wife, Terri Slifko, enjoys using the safe-T-seat as part of her regular training routine.

 

“Riding with my son, Joshua, is about the only training I can fit in these days,” said Slifko. “I make the most of each ride by finding the hills and working to beat my friends – who aren’t carrying the extra weight – to the top.”
